Seamus Bruner, Director of Research at GAI, appeared on Newsmax to unpack President Donald Trump’s powerhouse justice department picks: Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel. Bruner hails them as a “knockout duo” ready to dismantle the deep state.
In his commentary, Bruner spotlighted past FBI overreaches such as the Mar-a-Lago raid on President Trump’s Florida home, and the targeting of traditional Catholics.
Bruner appeared on a panel with host Lidia Curanaj that also discussed Patel’s plan to move 1,500 FBI agents from Washington, DC to bureau field offices, and Trump’s order to fire U.S. attorneys from the administration of President Joe Biden. He is the author of the 2018 book, Compromised that explored corruption in the Justice department that occurred during the Obama administration and during the Russia collusion investigation.
