GAI Director of Research, Seamus Bruner appeared with Chanel Rion on her OAN program called “Fine Point” to discuss Klaus Schwab’s abrupt resignation from the World Economic Forum amid an investigation into financial misconduct and abuse by him and his wife, including the funneling of WEF funds to family and personal ventures.

Bruner, author of the book Controligarchs, sees this as a forced exit due to Schwab’s age and baggage, such as his “eat bugs” mantra. However, he doubts the strength of the allegations against Schwab, suggesting they may be instead part of an effort by the WEF at a “rebrand” of itself to dodge populist backlash. Bruner critiques the new CEO, Peter Brabeck, for predatory practices, and warns the WEF’s $500M cash flow ensures its globalist agenda persists, potentially amplified by AI’s dystopian risks.
