“As goes California, so goes the nation”: Author Susan Crabtree on her new book “Fool’s Gold”

“Fool’s Gold,” a new investigative book, explores some of the most prominent national Democrats’ connections to California, and how the Golden State has become an incubator for some of the nation’s most progressive policies. Investigative reporter Susan Crabtree, who co-wrote the book with GAI Research Director Jedd McFatter, joins Rick Chambers and Courtney Friel on KTLA-TV to discuss the work, the unique history of California politics, and Governor Newsom’s future, all under the understanding that, as Newsom says, “as goes California, so goes the nation.”
