On July 1, Eric Eggers, Vice President of the Government Accountability Institute, joined Alan Jackson on TBN’s Allen Jackson NOW show to discuss political developments. They covered the Supreme Court’s 6-3 ruling limiting federal district court judges’ ability to issue national injunctions, curbing efforts to block President Trump’s agenda.
Eggers criticized the Democratic opposition, which has used jurisdiction “shopping” to bring cases before favorable judges in order to delay the president’s agenda.
Eggers and Jackson also discussed the New York City Democratic mayoral primary, won by self-described socialist Zoran Mamdani. Eggers also highlighted California’s struggles under Gavin Newsom, Trump’s response to the wildfires there, and an ongoing House investigation into Biden administration. Eggers praised a movement to teach America’s founding principles, noting young people’s hunger for truth amid radical education narratives.
