GAI Vice President Eric Eggers, author of a 2018 book on election fraud, joined Chanel Rion on OANN to discuss a recent executive order aimed at eliminating mail-in ballots and controversial voting machines.
Trump’s concerns are not new, Eggers argued, noting the president has made charges about election fraud since 2020 and has warned before about the vulnerabilities of mail-in voting. Trump created an election integrity commission during his first term. But the effort to clean up voter rolls failed after it was challenged in court by legal activists backed by billionaire George Soros.
Eggers’s 2018 book, FRAUD, tackled the issue of mail-in balloting and absentee balloting among other vectors of election fraud. On the show, he emphasized that inaccurate voter rolls remain the biggest threat to election integrity, citing illegal registrations and lack of oversight. He applauded the efforts of Harmeet Dhillon’s DOJ in cracking down on voter roll abuses, and believes Trump’s reforms will prioritize cleaning voter databases to restore trust in elections.
