Eric Eggers, Vice President of Research at the Government Accountability Institute and co-host of The Drill Down podcast joins The Vinnie Penn Project radio show.
Together, they uncover the shadowy networks influencing American politics—from congressional corruption and insider trading to the artificial rise of progressive candidates like Mamdani.
Eggers tells Penn about GAI research showing the money flows between billionaire philanthropists and activist groups that have stoked protests against Immigration Control and Enforcement (ICE) law enforcement actions in America’s largest cities.
The No Kings protests are actually “a money story,” Eggers explains. GAI research on the No Kings protest funding led it to the billionaire-funded networks that funded these protests in October. The same research has led GAI to finding the money flows to New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.
“The research we did on that led us to the same network, or at least an adjacent network, that is artificially propping up the rise of Mamdani,” Eggers told Penn, “to make this Islamist, Democratic Socialist candidate appear to be the organic choice of New Yorkers when in fact he’s being propped up by some very nefarious forces.”
