GAI President Peter Schweizer discussed how his book Clinton Cash exposed the Clinton Foundation’s “pay-to-play” scheme. Appearing on the OANN program of former Rep. Matt Gaetz, Schweizer’s book triggered multiple FBI field investigations. Those efforts were later shut down by DOJ and FBI leadership by Sally Yates and Andrew McCabe.

Schweizer pointed out the FBI’s double standard at the time of aggressively pursuing Donald Trump with a Russia collusion inquiry while at burying legitimate inquiries into the Clintons and their foundation sourced on evidence contained in a published book. Schweizer reveals that after the publication of Clinton Cash, he was contacted in 2015 by multiple FBI field offices and provided them sourcing material from the book.

On the program, Schweizer argued corruption has since evolved into “offshoring corruption,” where family members act as intermediaries, and “globalized corruption,” where foreign oligarchs are invited into American politics. He called for structural FBI reform, transparency, and vigilance against entrenched institutional corruption.
